Hmm.. Lidt fif fra andetsteds:
Just a helpful hint. ALWAYS REMEMBER TO TURN THE NO2 OFF WHEN YOU ARE DONE.
Had a friend of the family forget to turn off his bottle on his '69 Dodge Charger. When he went to start it back up the cylinders had filled with nitrous. It blew the heads clean off the engine. So be careful!
reply til den..
That is why you have RPM activated window switches and other safety equipment so that its only on when you want it to be.
Sounds like he cheaped out on the system, and paid for it in the end.
Næste runde:
well, for one, you get a kit with a window switch suited for your car, such as on a camaro 2500-6500 rpm, on a mustang 2000-5600 rpm, then you also get direct port, or dry(sprayed thru intake), if you have a plastic manifold, the dry shot might blow your motor quicker than you think. next you decide what sort of shot you will be spraying, such as 50,75,125,etc. a 125 shot will give you some wehre between 130-150whp gain, and almost 175-200 rwtq gain, depending on car.you also want to get a purge, so as to clear your line of any non no2 air before you race, as it will spray, and nothing will happen, because its just putting in regular air.
once you have it all set up, you go and tune it, because when you spray no2, more air gets into your cylinders, therefore you need more fuel, with a stock fuel pump, i wouldnt suggest mroe than a 125 shot. so you get it tuned, so that when the window switch is active, it dumps more fuel.
now for the switches, one to ARM the system, a push button to purge, another switch for the bottle heater, and one for the opener, if you have an electric opener.
now go have fun.

Semi wrong. General rule of thumb is to have the N2O activate at WOT, that way you don't have it spraying during the time it takes for the RPMs to drop with the TB closed. Also, there are three main types of injection. Dry, wet, and direct port. Dry is where pure N2O is sprayed into the intake. These kits are the cheap ones, and are not recommended, as they lean out your A:F ratio quite a bit. Wet kits inject both N2O and a set amount of gas using special nozzles. These are favoured more as the additional gas stops the engine from leaning out. Finally, direct port is where there is a nozzle for each cylinder, and injects both gas and N2O, but allows much better distribution than a regular wet kit. These are not very common. Also, the reason behind a purge is to get rid of the gaseous N2O. It will work, just nowhere near as effectively as when the liquid is injected and then atomizes. It's not the same as regular air, as regular air contains around 20% oxygen, whereas as N2O contains 33% oxygen. Big difference.

Unless you have a decently built engine, I wouldn't even suggest a 125 shot. As for adding more fuel, that's what wet kits are for.

Nothing wrong with that. By the way, it's N2O. NO2 would be Nitrogen Dioxide which has double the oxygen of Nitrous Oxide (Dinitrogen Monoxide).
Hmm, ville være max cheaped out for mit vedkomne hvis jeg skulle lege med det, hmm, derfor vil jeg gerne kunne beregne en del på det så jeg undgår at ødelægge noget...
