I used your program Asus Update V 7.10.05 to download newest BIOS for my
motherboard, the program found the correct BIOS for my mobo. I doubble
checked
the bios file and updatet using your program. The program Checked the bios
installation and CONFIRMED the bios update.
BUT when i rebooted as requested by your program the motherboard never
started
up again.
I have tryed to unplug everything so there is nothing else connected to the
mobo, but
the BIOS is DEAD after using YOUR BIOS UPDATE TOOL!!
IM PISSED!!
I have a freind that have SAME problem after using YOUR OWN bios update tool
and
now the BIOS is dead!
I cant send my mobo in for service becaus its over 2 years old!
What can you do to help me here ???
In my opinion -You ASUS should pay me a new mobo or repair the one i have

Dear
Tonni.
Updating the BIOS is always risky and there is a chance it might not work
100%. There is no tool that can make a BIOS update work 100% for any
company.
You do however have 3 years warranty on your motherboard so I can recommend
you to check with the shop where you bought it as they should be able to
help you send it in for repair/exchange of BIOS chipset.

Hi again, I can't remember where I bought the mobo, and I never got papers
from the shop. I don't know the bye date on it either, is there anywhere I
can, check if it still is in warranty?
I just then that when your software says stable version I thought that it
was safe to use if you follow the procedure exact. And when the program
CHECKS and CONFIRMED the BIOS update was correctly done it was something
that was reliable.
And nonetheless that the motherboard advertises with CRASH FREE BIOS, and
the manual says that if the BIOS is interrupted or another fault/fail should
happen it could be fixed with the org. Cd that came with the motherboard BUT
it didn't fix enything.
We need to find a solution

Dear Valued ASUS Customer!
We need to inform you that a failed BIOS update is not covered by the warranty.
In any case, you may try to recover the BIOS by starting your system with the
motherboard driver disc in the ODD, and wait for at least 10 minutes.
Nothing may be shown on the screen, but the BIOS may be recovered.

So that mean ASUS is not taking any responsebility for ASUS software that destroys
someone's computer. And does not guarante that ASUS Products functions as
written in the manual or as advertised?
When some ASUS product have to be updated with new drivers, BIOS or other
software you should be prepared that the hardware doesn't work afterwoths.
Does that sound right to you...
I'll have to say that I have to call someone, this can't be right. False adveticement, and
a manual filled with **** that also is untrue plus that your own update program
destroyed my hardware. Maybe you should write "using BIOS update tool will destroy
your hardware even if is done correctley and pases the confirmation and we don't
care" in the manual then
I'm baffled that you don't even do enything.
Dear Valued ASUS Customer!
If you are not satisfied with the product as such, please contact your reseller.
You may ask your reseller if they can help you somehow.
